What should I cook for a Birthday lunch for my family?

How about those cheap friends and family throw in together and take you out for a birthday meals. It's your day not theirs. But what you propose would do just fine, the beggars can't be choosers, they must take what is served. If it was me, it would be hot dogs and potato chips with cheap soda pop. If it was my sister and it was her 20th birthday, she would have a great time eating her favorite food at her favorite place with her favorite brother, well maybe me.
